Installation
Install Workflow Automation Toolkit in your HubSpot account to start using powerful custom workflow actions.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”Before installing, make sure you have:
- A HubSpot account (any tier that supports workflows)
- Access to the HubSpot App Marketplace
- Permissions to install apps in your HubSpot portal
Installation Steps
Section titled “Installation Steps”Step 1: Find the App
Section titled “Step 1: Find the App”- Go to the HubSpot App Marketplace
- Search for “Workflow Automation Toolkit”
- Click on the app to view details
Step 2: Install the App
Section titled “Step 2: Install the App”- Click the “Install app” button
- Review the permissions requested
- Click “Connect app” to authorize
- Wait for the installation to complete
Step 3: Verify Installation
Section titled “Step 3: Verify Installation”To confirm the app is installed correctly:
- Navigate to Automation → Workflows in HubSpot
- Create a new workflow or edit an existing one
- Click the + button to add an action
- Look for Custom Actions in the action list
- You should see all Workflow Automation Toolkit actions listed
Required Permissions
Section titled “Required Permissions”Workflow Automation Toolkit requires the following HubSpot permissions:
- Workflows - To provide custom actions in your workflows
Uninstalling the App
Section titled “Uninstalling the App”If you need to uninstall the app:
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps
- Find “Workflow Automation Toolkit” in the list
- Click Actions → Uninstall
- Confirm the uninstallation
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”Actions not appearing in workflows
Section titled “Actions not appearing in workflows”If you don’t see the actions in your workflow builder:
- Refresh your browser page
- Verify the app is installed in Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps
- Check that you have the necessary permissions in your HubSpot account
- Try logging out and back in to HubSpot
Action execution errors
Section titled “Action execution errors”If actions are failing in your workflows:
- Check the workflow history for detailed error messages
- Verify all required input fields are properly configured
- Ensure property values being used are in the correct format
- Review the specific action documentation for usage examples
